The 2017 TMUA Utility Leadership and Management Conference will be held at the Sheraton Georgetown Texas Hotel & Conference Center, located at 1101 Woodlawn Avenue, Georgetown, TX 78628.
The (new!) Sheraton Georgetown Texas Hotel & Conference Center has extended a room rate of $149 single/double occupancy. In order to receive this discounted rate, your reservation must be made by June 2. To make your reservation online, please follow this link. If you prefer to call the hotel directly at 737-444-2700, be sure to ask for a room in the Texas Municipal Utilities Association – TMUA room block. Early (reduced) registration fees are available through June 2. After June 2, the registration fee increases. Please see the registration form for fees. Your registration includes a welcome reception/dinner on Wednesday night, breakfast on Thursday and Friday, lunch on Thursday, dinner and game show on Thursday, access to all educational sessions, and refreshment breaks.

THURSDAY NIGHT DINNER AND GAME SHOW
This year, dinner will be at the hotel followed by a game show. This is included in all conference registrations. You may bring a guest for $40.
WHAT TO DO IN GEORGETOWN
There is a lot to do in Georgetown. The hotel backs up to the Rivery Park with easily accessible hiking and biking trails. Tour the historic downtown square or take the kids to the Inner Space Cavern. There are tours, disc golf, shopping and the special restaurants in the downtown square. Find all you need here.
ROUND ROCK EXPRESS – FREE TICKETS!
If baseball is your thing, plan to stay over one night and see the Round Rock Express for free. We have 20 tickets to give away to the first people requesting them (limit 4 per person) for Friday, June 23, at 7:05 p.m. If you are interested, email the TMUA coordinator Lauren Grossman at firstname.lastname@example.org to request yours.
The Round Rock Express are a class Triple-A Pacific Coast League minor league baseball team in Round Rock, Texas, owned by RSR Sports (Nolan Ryan, Don Sanders, Reid Ryan) and founded by Reid Ryan, son of Baseball Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan. The team is currently affiliated with the Texas Rangers.
CANCELLATION AND SUBSTITUTION POLICY
If you are registered and cannot attend, we encourage you to send a substitute. If you cannot send a substitute, a $45 cancellation fee will be assessed if written cancellation is received by June 7. No refunds will be honored after June 7.
Conference badges will be mailed in advance. Name badges are required for admittance to the workshop. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR BADGE TO THE CONFERENCE.
